You're right, Becky Bloomwood can get a bit annoying; then again, so can Lara (with all her pining for her lousy ex). Luckily, Sadie's fire and independence totally makes up for Lara's occasional clinginess. <br /><br />I also liked how the them of "the new woman" (of the 1920s) mirrors the idea of the modern woman (today).
