Top: Gap
Skirt: J Crew
Belt: J Crew
Shoes: Naturalizer

I'm back at work. Woe is me. I've actually been back for two days but was in pretty scrubby, unblog-worthy clothes for them. I'm entering my fifth year of teaching and I have moved classrooms every year so I've been doing lots of unpacking.

Even though I've done this before, I'm still amazed at home much my feet hurt! The transition from flip flops to normal shoes is tough! I need to build up my shoes tolerance before the students return next week.

  1. I love the purple blouse with the pink skirt and yellow belt. So fresh and fun!

I have the same blouse, so I might use you for inspiration!

  2. Thanks Overcaffeinated!
A year ago, I paired this skirt with black only. I'm definitely becoming more adventurous with color.

  4. You look soo good. I think that diet/ different way of eating that you mentioned a few months ago has paid off. Loving all of the bright colors you have been wearing and your hair down too :)

  5. What a bright way to start off the school year. My meetings don't start until Tuesday and the kids come back on Thursday, so I have some time to mentally prepare. I love those shoes! Do you remember the name of them?

  6. Cute outfit! Love the blouse, skirt, and belt combo!

My feet DEFINITELY know school's back in session! Last year I had carpet and my feet never hurt. This year, with tile - I go home exhausted. Maybe I'm just getting old :)

  7. Eeek, you literally made me laugh out loud!

Deco Aurao, thank you so much! This morhing was a weigh in and I reached a new low! Yay! Cutting back on wine and doing the 30 Day Shred were the final things that helped!

Ms. J, no, it's not old age! Don't be silly :P
