Pleated skirts are great for many reasons.
The first being if it is a windy day, you can have a Marilyn Monroe moment that you can laugh about with your husband.
The second is that pleats hide a lot of food stains. Nearly everything I ate today landed somehow on my skirt. But thankfully it was the inner part of the pleats and thus was fairly well concealed.
Thank you pleated skirt.
I can't believe I just used the word "thus".
