Dress: Old Navy
Cardigan: J Crew
Belt: Joe Fresh
Shoes: Land's End Canvas, available here

I bought this dress during the cold chill of winter. I liked it so much that went it first appeared online, I bought it at full price. I never do that. I immediately took it back because I felt guilty for buying on Old Navy, polyester dress for $40. But I kept on thinking about it. By the time I decided I really wanted it, my size disappeared. A few weeks later my size reappeared and the dress was sale. Yay! It was meant to be my dress. I'm so glad the weather has warmed up so I can wear it.

The shoes are one of my new purchases from Land's End Canvas. I've been going kind of crazy with my LEC orders. J Crew has been looking ho-hum but Land's End is lots of fun. I bought these ballet shoes a few weeks ago when Land's End Canvas was running their Classifieds special. The sale starts of at the beginning of the week and then things get marked as the week progresses. I was able to get these flats for $15 and I had a code for free shipping. Score! A tip for my Canadian friends; if your Land's End order is under $16, you will not be charged duty. The current code for free shipping is VIBRANT, pin 8242.

  1. Super cute shoes! I just LOVE everything from LEC! And the Classifieds are the best! I wish they would do them every week like regular LE does 'On the Counter'. I've been able to get cashmere sweaters for $12.50 from the 'On the Counter' before.I can't wait for the LEC summer stuff to go on sale!

  2. It's funny that you commented on this post because it was YOUR posts on Land's End and Land's End Canvas that got this whole thing started. Thanks for the great tips! I've been getting lots of deals!

  3. Oh I love LEC! And I am starting to have an affinity to the regular LE line too, now that they've started streamlining some of their styles and sizing. And you can't beat their great prices and return policy!

  4. I love these bright colors. My soon to be sister-in-law shared the LEC collection with me and I've found they have so many great pieces!

  5. First time commenting, though I've been peeking at your blog for quite sometime. I totally can relate to your style or uniform (pencil skirt or dress & cardi) as you once said and your minimal jewelry/accessories. Well done! Very purrrrty!

  6. I admired that dress too, and am kicking myself for not getting it! I also love that belt... you're so good with belts. Now I want a wide brown one too.

  8. Lisa, I've stated off with LEC, but like you, LE has been grabbing my attention lately. I just have to wade through a few questionable designs to get to the good stuff!

  11. Thanks Haley! I was scared for so long to wear belts for non-pant-holding-up purposes. Now I love them!
