Born Out of Necessity

This outfit was born out of necessity. These are the warmest pants I own. It was -38 Celsuis today. Ouch!

    OMG! I read about that on the news! I found when we got the cold snap out west, moisturizing with a heavy duty body lotion really helped to keep me warm. I didn't have to bust out the long johns, but I had to hunker down and stayed indoors mostly. Roads are crazy in that cold... stay safe!!! And yes, you do look very warm/chic in your OOTD :)

    We discovered that in this cold, our house makes very loud bangs. Although logically I know what it is, when it happens at 2:30 am, I am still scared! Only one more day of this (thank goodness) and then it should warm up.

    I will try the hand lotion trick. Thanks!
