It's a Wet Christmas.

December 21, 2010

Cardigan: J Crew
Tank: Banana Republic
Skirt: Ricki's
Shoes: Naturalizer - They're not the same old black or brown ones. These are new and they're gray!

It's been a crazy few days weather wise in my part of the woods. Sometimes during this time of year, buses come early to take kids home from school because of snow and bad roads. Today the buses came early because it has been raining so much that bridges and roads were flooded out. Is it possible to get a rain day? I might find out tomorrow. . . It's not looking like a white Christmas for us.

  1. It's never a white Christmas in San Diego, but we're getting crazy amounts of rain! Which is great for the plants, but then all the roads flood. This time my parents garage flooded, so that's the downside.

Love the outfit. Very pulled together, and the shoes are pretty!

  2. I swear your shoes look taupe on my monitor.

Rain day? As one living on the wet west coast of BC, I can tell you that would never fly here. But good luck to you! :)

  3. I've been keeping an eye on your weather. I was waiting for your OOTD in a dinghy. ;) j/k!

Here in Calgary it's beautiful weather! Warm for winter, snow on the grass, but dry roads and loads of sunshine! Hope you get some relief soon.

    Have a Merry Christmas!

PS I'd love to see a close up of your shoes! LOVE THEM!

  4. Hi KDot! I wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas, and let you know that I was thinking of you today when I was watching the CBC, another storm for your area.
I hope you are warm and dry and having a good break!

  5. Thank you everyone. We survived the rain and didn't float away. A few days after Christmas we were hit with several snow storms so now it finally feels like winter. RDog and I are holed up at home having a peaceful winter vacation.

    Happy New Year!
