Curling Iron Wounds

January 18, 2010

Sweater: Martin and Osa
Skirt: Gap
Shoes: Naturalizer

I don't know if you can see it but there's a bit red spot on my forehead. It is a curling iron battle wound from yesterday. I was running late and trying to do my hair quickly when I smacked myself in the forehead with my curling iron. It did some serious damage. I drove all the way to school with my morning smoothie against my forehead in attempt to cool it off. I don't think it worked as today it blistering and red. Grooooossss.

In other KDot news, my favorite game of all time released a sequel today. Little Big Planet 2! I have a date for the rest of the night with my PS3.

  1. Awwweeee! You poor thing! I burnt myself on my ear before and it blistered like you wouldn't believe. Hope it's healing up. Hey, you can always just put your forehead down out in the snow ;) We have accumulations of about 2 ft in the city here, I don't have to lean to far down to do the same. Very cute outfit, love that skirt on you.

  2. Yay, skirt twinz!!

I hope your forehead feels better. Sounds so ouchy. :( I just bought a curling iron a few weeks ago and have yet to try it. I haven't used one since I was a teen, and I'm feeling intimidated.

  3. I spotted this on Dani BP's blog and laughed out loud, I've always got a burn somewhere from curling irons!

  4. Jeez, it would help if I could spell "culr" right, lol.

Closet Crisis, I did think about sticking my head in a snow bank but figure it would ruin my hair-do :-)

Overcaffeinated, give it a try. Just don't go crazy like me and buy a super hot curling iron and use it on the hottest setting. Lesson learned.

Tabitha, I'm glad I'm not the only one!

  7. Ouch! I hope your burn heals quickly!

What a popular gap skirt! haha. Do you find it fits a little large though? Or stretches? Silly Gap.

I love the black and white version!

  8. Melissa, your picture made me want to get the blue and red version but it is sold out!

It was a little loose around the waist but that was good for me. It's a bit short for me so it nice that I can wear it low on the waist and get some extra length.
