J Crew Makes Me Late For Work

January 14, 2010

Shirt: Gap
Skirt: J Crew
Shoes: Naturalizer

As you may be able to tell from the scenery around me, yesterday was a snow day.

Today's hair do is a simple ponytail because of: a) I knew I had to leave early because the roads were not 100% clear of snow and b) J Crew has an epic sale and I went on an ordering spree this morning when I should have been doing my hair. Five camis, one cardigan, one necklace and one skirt are on their way to me. Don't worry RDog, I only spent $100.

Did you take advantage of J Crew's 40% off sale? What did you get?

  1. How is the shipping? Or do you have a US address you have mail sent to?

  2. The shipping is free on orders over $100. I did pay a bit of duty because I choose UPS shipping. You can take a risk with the duty and ship through Canada Post. The don't always catch the duty. But if they do, you end up paying more than UPS.

  4. I don't know how our northern friends do it, figuring out the duty & post and such. Sounds like a good haul @ good prices. Love the Gap top on you.

  6. That darned J. Crew! ;) Yes, I got a few things too... like the timber tweed pencil skirt which I thought was gone forever but miraculously appeared one morning when I was up at 3 a.m....and a few other tops and blazers which I hope to post about as soon as they arrive.

That is some serious snow you got there!

  8. No new J Crew items for me. I did score a skirt at the thrift store however. I noticed you eat clean, me too! Tosca Reno's book is awesome isn't it! Do you read Oxygen magazine? I love the weight training advice!

    Have a good day!
