I Forgot the Title!
Sweater: J Crew
Blouse: Unknown
Skirt: Sears
Shoes: Naturalizer
Belt: Old Navy
I came home tonight to find this.
First of all, the robin (aka Princess Robin) must have been ticked off to have her mid-day peace disturbed by Mr. Delivery Man. Princess Robin does not like when humans invading her territory. She likes to scream at them if they do. She especially does not like RDog and has started pooping on his BBQ. RDog has a theory that she is enacting revenge for his presence near her nest.
Second of all, the amount of packages looks bad, but it isn't (promise). I've been really digging Land's End and Land's End Canvas lately. What I don't like is how they charge duty to Canada when the item ships from within Canada. I have discovered that duty is only shipped if the order is over $16. Each of those boxes represents one item that was under $16 (shipping was free). It's wasteful, I know, all those boxes for a little belt or scarf. But I refused to pay duty for something that ships from Canada! As for the contents in the boxes, I'll be wearing some of it tomorrow.

Oops - I hope your robin is ok!
ReplyDeletecan't wait to see your new purchases :)
It's quite strange how they built the nest right at the house. All the robins I had all nested in the trees around the house.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what's in the boxes as well!
Eek, the robin is doing great. My mom laughed at me the other day when she called. I had to whisper to talk to her; the robin doesn't like loud noises inside the house! Hence the nickname Princess. :-)
ReplyDeleteRose, it is veryy strange, especialy considering that on the right side of the doorway is our screeened in porch. We live out there in the summer and so do our cats! So the robin has two cats within a few feet of it separated by only a screen.
ReplyDeleteThe cats have been good so far and really don't notice her. But if they get an evil look in their eyes, they are banished from the room for a bit.
does she like the light as a heat source?
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the outfits! I'm a Lands' End/LE Canvas addict. :-)
ReplyDeleteIt has been a while since I have seen a Roding here around (Luxembourg, Europe) and never nesting close around.
ReplyDeleteI just LOVE the skirt, fabulous!
Autie, I love you blog. I'd like to see some of you LEC outfits too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Stephanie! We're having a fun time bird watching lately. It's amazing how many different types are around our house. I love country living!
