Twisty
I tried something new with the do today. I washed it last night and wet twisted it up for the night. The result was messy curls that stuck for most of the day. My hair is straight as a pin and hard to curl. Usually after I curl it, it is straight again in an hour. This method is a success I think as this picture was taken after about 11 hours of curl.
Any other straight hair girls out there who have had success getting a curl to stick?

Your hair looks great! My hair is wavy, so I don't have any advice/tips, but it seems like this method works very well. I also love your skirt, the ruffles on your top, and the colors. I love everything!
ReplyDeletei have curly hair...so can't help you there. :(
ReplyDeletebut love how ur hair turned out! :)
great color combo today...ahh...it's the pastiche skirt!
Thanks Kristin. I'm so jealous of wavy hair - it seems like it would be easier to go either way; straight or curly.
ReplyDeleteThank you Kimchi Girl! I love the pastiche skirt! I'm so glad it's warm enough so I can wear it again.
ReplyDeleteI love your hair and the outfit! You really rocked the neutral and the bright spring colors. I think the entire look, including the curls, are perfection! That skirt..... swoon! Cheers!
ReplyDeleteAwwww, Sherry. You're sweet!
ReplyDeleteI love the hair!! My hair is super straight too - I'll have to try that. What did you use, bobby pins? I've used the conair bamboo soft rollers and they worked well but aren't comfortable to sleep on.

Love you hair!!! I have curly hair but not great curls so fighting to have them all day long straight so can't really help here...
ReplyDeleteHaley, when my hair was wet, I twisted it up like a messy finger curl and held it with bobby pins. I watched a few youtube videos on how to make a finger curl before I tried it. I think it is going to take some practice.
ReplyDeleteThanks Stephanie!
