Just A Country Girl

I asked RDog what he thought of my outfit this morning. He said I looked like a country girl. Then we took his Jeep out on the back roads and went mudding. This country living thing ain't so bad sometimes.

It was a beautiful, warm Sunday. I finally took down our outdoor Christmas decorations while RDog washed the mud off his Jeep. Then I stood in our pool.

Yes, it's almost the middle of April and our pool still has at least of foot of ice left in it.

The outfit stuff:

Dress: Old Navy
Cardigan: Old Navy
Hat: J Crew Factory available here (it's a great hat for big noggin ladies)
Sunglasses: J Crew Factory available here

  1. I don't think we've ever seen you smile this big! I love your natural smile, so beautiful! Also loving the hat/fedora thingie!

  2. Thanks Nancy! My smirk is the result of many years of bad teeth. I never smiled because I hated my teeth. I had a lot of work done on them just before we got married so they are not as bad anymore but it still feels weird to smile a toothy smile.

  3. You went mudding in that? Such a cute outfit! You are so stylin!!! And I CANNOT believe that's ice you're standing on...what am I saying, I can, there's still a good few inches of ice in my parking spot, cos the sun doesn't shine on it all day, like the rest of the parking lot. Every morning it's a challenge to get in my car without wiping out in my dress pumps.

  4. Closet Crisis, we go mudding like city people. We really don't get it THAT dirty. When we saw a really mudding spot in the road, both RDog and I said "ugggg" in unison. We turned around, lol.

  6. Oh my gosh! You are standing on your frozen pool! That outfit and the sunshine makes it look warm, but clearly it is not!
Love the print of your top and how well it goes with your maxi.
Thanks for joining us at EBEW!
