Tank: Martin and Osa
Skirt: Walmart
Belt: RW (For any Canadian teachers out there, RW is having a great sale this week. All teachers get 20% off their purchases of $85 and more.)
Bracelet: Forever 21
Shoes: Clark's
Today's skirt was purchased during the great Walmart $1 sale of 2004. It was July and huge amounts of Walmart's clothes were marked down to a dollar. This was my favorite skirt for a long time. I even managed to squeeze into when my weight ballooned up. I just wore it a lot higher on the waist. The skirt is getting faded and I think this will be it's last wear. Goodbye old friend, we had good times together.

What is the name of your Clark's shoes? You might have said before, but I've forgotten and can't find it...I really like them and am trying to find a pair of black sandals just like yours!
ReplyDeleteCute outfit! You can find some good stuff at Wally World. And for $1, you KNOW you got your money's worth out of it!
I hate when clothes I love get too worn to wear anymore :( At least you got many good years out of it!
ReplyDeleteLooks cool with the belt! I think the fact that it's faded could really make it work if you wore it with a brown belt and a navy shirt or something. Very J. Crew July catalog :)...don't forget the orange nail polish!!
ReplyDeleteThat bracelet is super cute.
ReplyDeleteThat skirt is super cute...love the bracelet and belt combo
ReplyDeleteGreat outfit. It does make me sad when a favorite like that fades away. Love Zoe Moet's suggestions though, to rock it as a "faded black" item - isn't that like dark charcoal? :)

ReplyDeleteThe box for my Clark's has disappeared and I don't remember the name. Sorry. :-( You're right, I did get my money's worth. My cost per wear is a couple of pennies.

ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea. I'll have to give it a try. I'll keep the skirt out of the donate pile for a little bit longer.
Thank you spiffy and Miss Masala. I love Forever 21 for bracelets and necklaces.
ReplyDeleteHeidi, I'll just start calling it my charcoal skirt instead of black :-)
