I feel so special

Skirt: J Crew
Blouse: Ricki's It looks a bit purple but is actually navy.
Bracelet: Ricki's
Shoes: Naturalizer. I purchased these with my 15 dollars off birthday coupon and got them for 15$ (they were regular $100). Weee! They are really similar to this but in navy.

Today I went out to lunch with RDog, hit the dentist and then did some errands at the mall. Three random people stopped me in my travels to tell me they liked my skirt and ask where I got it. I feel so special. Great deals at the mall, by the way. It's the season of summer markdowns.

  3. That is a super cute skirt! Thanks too for rockin' chartreuse, now I'm not alone ;) Plus, now that I've seen how great it goes with Navy, I'll be able to work my chartreuse jacket into my wardrobe more often :)

  6. Thanks ladies.

The skirt is the Nicky skirt and I have it in navy too. I wear the navy one a lot more than this. It is really bright. I find it hard to match it with a top. What other colors can I pair with chartreuse?

  8. I've worn my chartreuse with black...but it can have a bit of an 80's vibe if one is not careful...very light gray could work, or white. Basically it seems to go best with summery neutrals...so far...

  9. Fantastic outfit!! You look so cute and way chic.

I haven't worn my navy Nicky yet this summer...need to pull it out. (I've been all about the knits with the traveling.)

  10. I'll try the chartreuse with white next I think. So far, it's only been paired with light blue and navy.
