My scarf rings are here.

I blogged a few weeks ago about wanting a scarf ring. I've been building up a collection of scarves, most found in thrift shops, but have no idea how to wear them. I thought a scarf ring might help out but could not find one at a price and style that I liked. Finally, I scored on Etsy. My scarf rings arrived today.

They are vintage and very pretty. I will have to wait until school starts again to put them into use. In a small way, I'm looking forward to going back to school. It means I can start dressing pretty again! I keep on getting comments about how dressed up I am and it's getting tiring. Seriously folks, all I wear is a skirt and top and people tell me it looks like I am at work. Just because I'm on vacation, doesn't mean I have to dress like a slob! Rant end.

Anywho, I'm looking forward to adding these rings and my scarfs to my fall wardrobe.

  1. Let's face it, the vast majority of people dress like slobs now. The few of us who have pride in what we wear are ridiculed for it, twisted I know.

Love the scarf rings, so pretty!

  3. Love those scarf rings, good Etsy score!
Don't let those Slobby Slobsters get you down. I get that all the time, I love *fashionz* and I think it is important to dress properly, and with personality! You keep on, we're out here too;)

  5. Thank you everyone! I have to always remember for every remark about how dressed up I am, I usually get 2 or 3 compliments about how nice I look. The best are from random strangers who come up to me in the grocery store or mall. They make me feel all fuzzy inside. Sometimes a bit weird too when it comes from an old man who won't stop staring at me. I am a magnet for creepy old men. Eh, got of topic here. Cheers!
