Dress: Martin and Osa

Sweater: J Crew
Belt: Danier Leather
Shoes: Naturalizer

Not only was it freezing outside (the snap from summer weather to fall just happened) but my face was also frozen (darn dentist found a cavity).

The color combination for this outfit was inspired by the lovely AppGal over at
Musing on the Mountain. I'm often afraid to mix red and green in fears of looking like a Christmas present. But the non-Christmas tones of these colors make it seem less festive (at least I hope so). I don't want to be one of those teachers to wear holiday outfits like this.

  1. LOL. Love the link to the other holiday sweaters, teehee. They ship to the US, holla!

Oh, it is cold already? I don't want to know how cold... They say it is meant to be cold here this weekend, in the upper 50s and 60s, which I assume is probably feeling warm to you about right now. :) (But bravo on the cute shoes, still feel very summer-like!)

  3. Just loving your outfits...Your hair is beautiful, did you straighten it?

  4. Thanks Julia. I realized that I was always using my hair straightener on the "medium" setting. i cranked it up to high; it's very effective.

  5. Lovely color combination! I would not dare to mix red and green neither, but your mix is a hit! Do love your hair too!

  6. Yeah, my car, btw, was made in Canada, (it is a VW van made at the same plant as Chrysler), and the temp gauge and mileage counter is very easy to trigger to metric. LOL. I didn't know how to trigger it back (even though it is easy!), so for a few days I only saw Celsius and Kilometers, which definitely made for advanced math while driving. :)
