I'm still in session til the end of the week too. And my kiddies will only get crazier and crazier by the end of the week. I'll have to figure out ways to keep them busy. Love the color of that cardi!
We are luckier here, my son stopped school last Friday, but it is work for me until today midday. Then a couple of things to be done before getting fully ready for Xmas. Fishing you a smooth end of your work week...
I recently started reading your blog (I think I made it here fom J.Crew Aficionada, or possibly elsewhere). I am also a teacher (HS science) and we are in all week and my students mentally checked out last week. The problem is that we are doing a major final project for our current unit and it is due on Thursday. It's torture.
I've been trying to dress "comfy" this week, so far no pencil skirts or anything with a fitted waistband, and only the most comfortable shoes.
Little Nashua, thank you for reading! My students have checked out too - which sucks because they have a provincial assessment (that they have to pass in order to graduate) 5 days after Christmas break. I'm (trying) to cover some really important things! I need to break out the comfy clothes too!
I truly wish that there wasn't any school this week! I'm having to take my daughters out anyway for family visits. My son, who is at U of T. finished up last week, oh the whole Holiday should have begun by now. But the good news is... you look fabulous and I love this outfit and the last few too. Wishing you and RDog a very Merry Christmas and a happy break!
KDot: I love exclamation points and toast, sales and kitties, books and RDog. I teach big kids stuff, make up silly songs, and dance in my kitchen. I take a picture of my clothes everyday, but I really am shy. Welcome to my life and style journey as a wannabe fashionista.
Me too! I don't think we've ever finished this late in Calgary. The kids don't want to do anything and frankly, I don't want to either!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
Allison
I hear you! We're still in as well out here in Ontario. Boo :(

I'm glad to have discovered other teachers!
ReplyDeleteAllison, my students don't want to do anything either (if they even show up). Arg!
Cagliari67, I'm glad it's just not us suffering here in NB. School is out in NS and all my Nova Scotian family are rubbing it in!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jenn! The kids ARE getting crazier. They keep on asking for movie days! Arg!
ReplyDeleteThanks Stephanie. I'm trying to make it home earlier each night to wrap up the Christmas stuff. Hosting dinner on Saturday = eek!
